Olen aloittamassa toista työvuotta päätoimisena opettajankouluttajana. Koko tämän ajan vahvimpina omaa työtäni suuntaavina ja problematisoivina käsitteinä ja konteksteina ovat olleet luottamus ja kontrolli.  Se, kumman valitsee, suuntaa vääjäämättömästi tekemistä ja ymmärtämistä. Mielestäni luottamus ja kontrolli ovat toisensa poissulkevia; ei siis ole olemassa “luottamuskontrollia” eikä “kontrolliluottamusta” pedagogisessa mielessä!

I am starting the second year as a full-time vocational teacher educator. During the ongoing year one of the most influential  issue and problem for me has been the pair of concepts (and contexts) of trust and  control.  The one you choose as a leading energy for your teachership orientates unassailably your activity and understanding.  I believe that they – trust and control – block each other; there is no trust and control at the same time  in a pedagogical sense.
